Next Saturday (9 November) from 2pm – 7pm, CirKT launches a one-day music conference at Kingston Grammar School, providing a rare opportunity for audiences to have access to leading music professionals.
Highlights of the day include a panel discussion on the future of Kingston’s music scene, workshops on how to get your music out there and build a following on social media and how to be a promoter. There will be 1:1 mentoring opportunities with industry experts and a guest performance by CirKT New Talent act Kitty Got Claws.
Guest speakers include: Laura Brosnan, music journalist, photographer and executive editor of TRENCH magazine, Adam Maestro, Director of Sofar Sounds, Keith Miller, founder of Bad Vibrations, and Jamie Danan, Cannonball PR.
In this period of social distancing and isolation, making musical connections has never been more important.
