This week, Alex Brenchley and Graver Ekow performed at the Glasshouse in New Malden. Huge thanks to everyone who came along!
Alex Brenchley is a musician & visual artist from the UK. He is a cartoonist for New Statesman and Literary Review magazines and brings some of this light-hearted lyricism and eye-rolling word play to his songwriting, performing electro-acoustic sets with equal measures of humour and sincerity.
Graver Ekow are a queer British Hip Hop duo, holding a retro futuristic lens to the world. Their cathartic lyrics invite listeners to join them in holding a middle finger to the mainstream, while nestling in DIY pop sensibilities.
In this period of social distancing and isolation, making musical connections has never been more important.
